this may sound a little strange. but my aunt taught me something that i have found to be invaluable. she said when it comes to making a major decision. to flip a coin.

if you are happy with the results, then you do it. if you want to reflip the coin badly enough because you dont like the results.. then you arent ready to make a decision... or you have already had your mind made up and want someone to support that decision.

it seems flippant (lol), but actually there is a lot to this theory. so many times in the past i knew i should leave, i knew he wouldnt stop drinking, and i knew i had to make a decision. but i wanted that decision supported.

thanks to alanon. i can support my own decisions and dont need that coin as much any more. besides... i think the coin belongs to our HP anyways. lol

It's funny you should say that because Ward and I do that a lot. When we can't agree on a movie or a destination we flip a coin. I have even said that to girlfriends sometimes when we are are all about what to do...flip a coin!
