I haven't been here much lately, but last night I knew I still need to be here. AH has not drank for 10 days, and much to my surprise he is not being an a$$, he has been wonderful, I think I'm actually starting to like him again.
Last night I was almost asleep and something just hit me, since things have been going so well, I started falling back into terrible coDe habits, like apologizing for things that aren't my fault, and stuff like that. So here I am again, at SR making sure I don't let this behavior take over again.
I am happy for him and I hope he can do this, but I know there is a chance it won't last. I am trying to remember that whatever is meant to be I need to let it be and not try and control everything.

My AH got another job (part-time) and the first thing I did was jump in an offer to help.
Us CoDe's have to stick together and keep each other grounded

Hi Queen,
I know the feeling. Life seems to be going along pretty well and then **its the fan and I run back to alanon. Like the alcoholic who is recovering, it's a life long process. We'll always the support of alanon/SR. Kind of like the diabetic...feeling good...stop meds...feel like crap...will need it for the rest of my life.
