Looking for motivational quotes

Hi everyone.

I'm quite new to al-anon (attended 10 meetings so far) and I'm still finding it hard to "bite my tounge" when hubby goes off on one of his: "you expect too much, grow up, get help" verbal outburts. I'm looking for motivational quotes I can print out and keep. Quotes that encourage me to step back, stay calm, don't say anything, relax, and let him get on with it.

Can anyone help?

I heard a good one last night at my CoDA meeting:

I can please only one person per day. Today is not your day.
Tomorrow's not looking good either.

Yes he does say those things to me :( I think he likes to project his faults onto me to make himself feel better. Has anyone else experienced this?

And thanks for the quotes everyone! *HUGS* xx

blaming is one of the classics....

I like this one by Einstine:"Out of difficulty arises oppertunity"

Thank you. I found myself lying in bed next to him last night with my eyes closed and chanting "Accept the things I cannot change. Accept the things I cannot change" in my mind, because he was on one of his attacks.
