Yeah for me!!!!

I am so relieved right now, I had an appointment with my counselor and it was amazing. Do you ever have one of those conversations where you're like "wow that's exactly it" and everything just makes sense? Well that's what happened tonight.

Even though I don't know what is going to happen in our marriage, or if he'll ever want to get sober. For the first time in a long time am starting to think I am going to be okay, I am not crazy like H has made me think I am. I can do things, I am my own person not just an extension of him and that's okay, for the longest time I thought that was a selfish way to think. I can't believe I let him have so much control over me.

Talking to a counsellor can be like looking into a mirror for the first time with a nice bright light on so you can see the whole reflection clearly.

Keep going and keep exploring yourself as a valuable entity.
