I remember those days well.....
Now I just scream 'D.......' and my computer is wrestled into submission - it's hard not to submit with your guts lying on the carpet!!
I swear he only has to pick up a screwdriver for them all to behave now.

He did once manage to talk his Mother step by step through replacing her hard drive over the phone!!! :o but other than that I think the airfare would cost more than a brand spanking new computer!! (probably more than the phonecall international!!).
Having said that there's a computer behaving itself in Tuscanny that was previously throwing tantrums....
