I am heading to Alberta again this weekend to see my husband (who is working there for those who don't already know).

I'll be leaving Thurday evening and be back Monday night.

As much as I miss him being here, I love our little "vacations" when I go out to see him. We plan to stay at our favourite hotel that is almost like a resort, and to spend a day at Jasper, which is a beautiful town in the Rockies. I think he is coming home in Sept. for a few weeks as well...so this may be my last trip for a couple of months. I am so lucky to have been married to this man for 33 years..he was my childhood sweatheart and is still my best friend. And he isn't codependent and he doesn't drink or do drugs. He has always been the one who could remain stable while my son and I have progressed through our chaos. You just gotta know this man has the patience of Job and a sense of humour.

Anyway, don't wonder where I am...and I will miss you all while I am gone. And just keep doing lots and lots of nice things for yourself over the weekend.:wink2:
