Sun, Sand and Surf!
 

Hi everyone!

Tomorrow I leave on a much needed vacation! I am going to Fla. to visit a very old ( HA!! She turned 50 this year, too) and dear friend. We rent a place right on the beach and veg and read bad novels and eat all the stuff we never eat any other time. Fun?? You bet it is!

Ward is staying home this time so him and Mad Max the dog from hell will be baching it but he is very self sufficient...heck, the last month or so he has been taking more care of me than he should have to. So he will have a break, too.

The Beav is still out there...at a shelter I believe..has called one time and spoke to Ward. But things have a way of happening to Ward when I am gone so something may hit the fan...or not. Not my problem.

GS is doing well, he has bad dreams, and he will for a long time but from everything we all can see he is doing well. Isn't it funny how people tell us stuff we really don't need to know? I found out just recently that his Mom came home one night so high that she didn't know where her son was...and he had been with her. She lost him! Her own mother said that God took her to save the GS...how sad.

Anyway, that is my update...and I will miss you all, but I really need this time away.

You just go and have a wonderful time. It is great to have such a good friend to be with. I am so lucky too, I have three friends that are like sisters to me, two in my home town and one here in Toronto.

The beach is waiting....don't forget your bathing suit.

Have a great time...we'll miss you but I have a feeling we are all going with you.
