TODAY I have peace – it is the most wonderful feeling I have ever felt. TODAY, my worries of him are gone. My AH went to the bar last night. Normally I would hold on to this feeling of disappointment, anger, mistrust. I usually let these feelings interrupt my day ….but today, I let it go. I’m trusting in my HP to keep my daughter safe while she is with my AH today.

I know there is nothing I can do, no way I could act, and nothing I can say to change what has happened and what will more than likely happen again in the future. He needs help. Only he can get it. Whether I am there for him or not, only he can do it. I will go on with my day the best that I can. I will focus on myself and the kids. If I feel like I’m slipping, I will ask my HP for strength.

Tomorrow is another day…..lol

Well - I made it through the day!! I only started to slip once or twice...lol

You know - I think it wore me out. I feel asleep on the couch, sitting up, at 7:30 p.m. I couldn't keep my eyes open for anything....lol So I put the kids to bed and here I am now.

When I feel myself slipping, I jump in and tell myself to quit!!! Interesting, but it seemed to work.

I couldn't have gotten to this point without support from each of you. Thank you for helping me to have peace today!
