The battle for sobriety and love rages on
Hello Everyone, I just heard back from my ex-girlfriend Becky and she asked me why i hadn't called her the other day after calling my dad to refill her minutes on her cell phone. I told her that i had forgotten, and that i am becoming more forgetful of things as the days wear on. Like i could leave something somewhere and i could forget about it and it would end up sitting there for hours on end. Becky's AA friend Frank got drunk today because things i guess weren't going all that well, he wanted to go to an AA meeting but he was too drunk over vodka. Becky offered to buy him a bottle of vodka and faked to drink the bottle but she said the stuff smelled so bad that she didn't even dare to. And Frank was telling her "no don't, don't break your sobriety" and she says "well if you're getting drunk all over then i guess staying sober really isn't all the important then huh." In my opinion she's just trying to make a point to him that staying sober is very important and if you can't stay sober then it almost feels like there really is no reason to live.
I feel that Becky is very serious about recovering from her alcoholism, more than anyone in the AA program that i've seen so far,alot of the people i've heard of just go around boasting about their alcoholism and trying to make a point that they're better than the other addicts or that they can recover faster. But in reality it's only those who are the strong minded and strong willed that will recover from such an illness or disease. I honestly believe she has the heart and desire to overcome this problem as much as she may go in the line of fire in order to make a point to another alcoholic.
I just want her to do well in everything that she does, and i'm sure she knows that too. On another note more on the love front. I know this sounds more like a serious note because usually this is not the way the love front is generally played but i let her know that i ended up falling in love with what turned out to be a porn bot. She said "a porn bot?" and i said "yes a porn bot, it was basically this one pretty girl that i met on a singles site that referred me to this one porn site where you have to give away your name,address and credit card number just to watch this one girl for hours on end." She told me "those things cost alot of money." And i told her "Yeah but i guess it's better that it was a porn bot than a real person otherwise i wouldn't have told you about it." Anyways that's the latest on things, i hope that everything works out in the end on all fronts. I hope to hear from you soon,good luck in all you do.

Dear Thanx2Methodone,lol i get a kick out of your screen name 
but i just want you to know that i couldn't be any more supportive of her if it was not for the support of my al-anon internet friends . And by the way i think the clock on this website is ahead by an hour it says 10:19 when in reality due to daylight savings time you're supposed to set it back an hour so it should be (on my computer clock it says) 9:22 pm. That will probably really knock your biological clock off if you left the clock on this website like that,lol. But anyways i will keep you informed on what is going on. Right now i'm listening to the Detroit Pistons Vs. the New Orleans Hornets and the Pistons are whipping the Hornets. I hope to hear from you soon,good luck in all you do.
