Finding some Peace & Joy today

I hope everyone is staying safe at home...

Lately, I had purposely been staying away from SR because of the heavy heart I feel when I read these posts. Your comments and feelings hit me to the core, and under the duress of the pandemic I was afraid to come on. (even 5 years post divorce from ah) My heart hurts for the pain you all feel, as it wasn't that long ago, I was writing those same words and living those same moments. I see people everyday struggling to manage in this pandemic, but then living/loving an alcoholic/addict, is even harder to bare.

I want to say how proud of you, I am.
You are still posting and living one day at a time.
You always post one or two positives along with so many negatives in your life.
You are resilient to the core, as most codies are!
We are all entitled to a "happily ever after" however that would look for you.
You guys are true hero's getting up every day and fighting the fight, in fact so many fights.
Please know that people care about you and your well being.
We have walked in your shoes and we do understand and there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, you will get there. Be patient.

Hold your head high and say that you are a survivor, because you are!

I am sending each and everyone of you strength and hope that you will find some peace and joy today!
