I'm in the waiting room at a youth mental health centre. Kid 1 is having an intake session. So proud of his bravery in wanting to talk about things.
I'm ready to hear if I need to give him more space, more support - whatever. AH is just defensive about kid's need to talk.
Some days are just so sad. But this is a step in the right direction.

you should be proud that kid1 is wanting to talk and not hold it in. I'm guessing by now it's over, so hopefully it went good. Take care of your self and the kids and keep being strong.
