Anyone watch Mom where Jill
Jill and her new boyfriend Andy go on a double date with Bonnie and Adam. Andy and Adam have a few too many drinks. Then, the next day or so, Jill has to build up the courage to tell Andy she didn’t like it and she wants an alcohol free home. Andy replies very simply, then I won’t drink anymore.
I’m pretty sure I cried. I just wish I was so fortunate. Sorry for the pity party. I was just wondering if anyone else saw it and felt the same way?

I did see this episode, as I see all of them, this is one of very few programs I watch and it's my favorite. I love how sarcastic they are.
Yes, Andy isn't an alcoholic or even a problem drinker according to what we saw. It would be ideal if it were that simple for alcoholics, sadly it's not.

Although we watch 'Mom' pretty regularly, (and it's in syndication so we can see two past episodes a night) I haven't seen this story line. In fact, I just saw the episode in which Jill pretends to not be dating her bodyguard, he overhears and breaks up with her.
In checking Wikipedia, it appears he's forgiven her and they've rekindled the romance? No, Andy is not an alcoholic. That's *why* he can just quit.
I enjoy the show.
