Support, please!

There is a court hearing today for the CPS request for a continuation of the case. The plan is simple. I show up, meet with my lawyer and agree to this. It's procedure, timing and the process this typically goes through, from what I've experienced and been told. At least in my county.

I'm trusting in this being the healthy, next right action in this particular moment.

The other option would be to fight it. I'd love to!!! It doesn't seem to be the healthy choice or right timing for it. My lawyer said if things aren't resolved in my favor during this next time period, then it'll be time to fight in court.

Things went as planned in court.

There are some other things going on I was informed of afterwards that I'm choosing to trust God/Great Spirit/Universe on how this all works out and the timing of things. Weird stuff.

My faith is strong. It may not be the kind of update you meant, yet here in the middle of the night it's something amazing I'm experiencing. An hour ago I was crying again, deeply. Releasing pain, hurt and frustration. This situation isn't okay. Things aren't alright. Yet I have great faith, inner peace again and a hope beyond what I currently see.

Glad it went well. I struggle answering any court posts. It's too close to the bone for me still. But I'm happy you're happy. Oh to be free of it all!!!

Allowing joy in my life is a big part of my recovery and the ability to move forward in good, healthy ways. I wrote this on another thread this morning about Al-Anon meetings. It's also very much an arrow pointing me in a good direction today.

Talking with a friend from Al-Anon, a small brightly colored bird just showed up in front of me. The last time I saw this bird was over a month ago, while I was talking with the same person. Good connections in life.
