Small win
 

so tonight my boyfriend and I actually got to chat on the phone. And for the first time in awhile it was just a decent pleasant call. Not him complaining and getting upset about something or to talk about needing something. Which was almost always the case when he was actively drinking. This time it was just talking about our days and making jokes. He even was more involved with me than he was before asking about work and about other things I mentioned the other day. I know it doesn’t seem like a lot but it felt like a breathe of fresh air compared to what our relationship was back when he was drinking. Feeling a little blessed and peaceful for a moment.
