I agree with Morning Glory that a subforum similar to the one in Alcoholism wouldn't work in precisely the same way for the reasons she mentioned. Honeypig has pointed out that there are success stories to be found here. Beautiful stories of happiness and good lives of recovery! They often take a form that is not expected when someone first arrives at SR.

What also suspect happens on "this side" of SR is that those who have gone on to lead happy lives are simply out living them and not posting about it here.
