I am... finally back in control of MY life.

And I am... so profoundly grateful. I started a new FT job this week working with abused and neglected dogs and it feels absolutely life changing. I already know these dogs will heal me... as we heal together.

Thanks for this post! It’s nice to have a reminder to not focus on the a in your life.

I am “nice”.

I’ve even gotten that as my feedback on yearly work reviews. I used to resent it thinking 95% of people you meet are nice to you and everyone’s nice and how come they can’t think of anything else about me.?

But in a world where people are so quick to judge and tear other people down I’ll now take nice as a compliment.
