Hi mamabear... I don't have any other advice, but just want to say I'm thinking of you and am sorry you're going through this.
It gives me anxiety just reading it, and I dread the day I will have to go through this with my boys and their dad...
But it sounds like you've got this! Just keep breathing and stick to your guns!

Hi mamabear!
"Self-care is a very active and powerful choice to engage in activities that enable an optimal level of overall health."
Important question in the recovery toolbox:
What am I doing for self-care today?
Once upon a time (it may have been yesterday ) I was overwhelmed and sometimes didn't remember what was in my recovery toolbox or what skills I was gaining, yet, again and again, God/Higher Power/Life would send everything I needed. Asking for an open heart, eyes to see, and strength to follow a new path helps to open up the day at hand in new ways.

Hi Sasha, he ended up texting on Saturday asking to speak to kid. But we were at a family function. I gave kid my phone when we got home to call him. His dad answered and wished him a Happy Birthday. I didn't hear from at all on Sunday. Thank Goodness. So it wasn't a bad weekend as I had anticipated : )
