COD, stores have those sock removers and stocks to help you put on socks. It sounds like those would be more helpful than wife. Glad your doing a little more each day.

COD...I am so glad to hear from you! I had been thinking about you and wondering how you were doing.....
Sometimes it is just as important to know when to "not do" and it is to know when "to do".....lol....

Lol @ tom

COD! So glad that you popped in to update us and also in your humorous way. I'm glad things are mostly working out and that you have had time to rest and will hopefully mend fast. DS sounds like a fine young man.

Another update: not healing quite as quickly as I would like, so I was supposed to be back at work on Thursday - delaying that until Monday.

Secondly, DS has been home sick with me last Friday and through today. Even when he's sick he still has lots of energy!!! He was able to sing in the choir at Easter service, so that was awesome. He is now fever-free and will be going back to school tomorrow!

Now, if the rain would just S-T-O-P!!! We've had almost 2 inches already today, and more on the way later. Geesh. It would be good weather for all the quackers in our lives!!

Glad you are taking a few extra days to heal, and bummer that it's not as fast as planned. I swear it never is!

And COD....I kind of love that there is hardly a peep in your update about AW....

I think there is a turning point where we start letting them go as an important and productive part of our lives....and the next natural thing is that we start living that way.....and that's a pretty beautiful thing when we start heading the direction we want to go.

Sending good healing juju your and DS's way - what a trooper to sing on Easter even with the bug!

Glad to hear you are mending and DS got to sing.
Yes, firebolt's point about the focus shifting to you and DS and moving away from AW is duly noted and highly approved

Get well soon

Glad you’re healing cod, even if it’s not as fast as you’d like.

Columbus friends posted pics from their basements, looked like tornado warnings! We just keep getting rained on...

We had 4" of snow on Monday, 2.6" of rain yesterday with T-storms, 60 grees and tornadoes, and today it's 34 degrees and we're having snow squalls.

Thank God I'm not taking pain pills or I'd think I'd have gone loony!!

The weather is nuts this year - it's like a national game of Jumanji.

Glad you are healing well & getting all these great lessons in slowing down!!

skip the snow accumulation, but similar lovely weather here in west metro detroit. pretty awesome thunderstorm last night. wake up to 28 degrees, 30 mph winds, and a good snow squall.
great weather to bundle up and head downtown to watch the tigers!
