abuse is an entirely separate issue and as you have witnessed his abusive ways did not stop when the drinking did. his treatment of you is abhorrent and his expectations indicate he sees you as a slave/servant.

this also means any exit plan needs to be made carefully and with support. please reach out to domestic violence services, as posted here. be careful of making any sudden changes in YOUR behavior, as standing up to a bully can be dangerous.
