Life after Divorce—it does get better! I was married to a very jealous, angry, controlling alcoholic for 25 years. He controlled my money, my time, my body, my life. Finding the courage to leave him was the hardest and bravest thing I ever did. I made a list of all the things I wanted to do, and now COULD do, because there was nothing stopping me: —bleached my hair blonde —eat healthier, exercise, lost 20 lbs —went to Rome all by myself —bought a tiny cozy house just for me, and decorate it to reflect who I am —trained to be a deckhand and sailed on a tall ship from San Diego to Victoria BC —got a tattoo —lived in Paris for a summer —went back to school—and loved it! —grow organic food in my back yard —sew clothes I love —relax with my family —make new girlfriends and go shopping Ladies— you can create a life of creativity and energy and joy! |
I love this so much!! —trained to be a deckhand and sailed on a tall ship from San Diego to Victoria BC |
Good for you! |
This is great! Even small things such as relax with family, not rush home, hair styles as you please. Great post :) |
I agree. So many small things become blessings. Clean sheets. No snoring. Clean house. Choosing my music. Cooking healthy food. Going places besides dive bars.., |
