I got sucked into the quacking...

I sure did...I'm not going to deny it, make excuses or anything.

I knew what I was doing, what my AF was doing with his quacking (blaming/fault finding of everyone, but himself) and I succumbed to the temptation to engage.

Just goes to show you that we are not perfect even if we know all the rules and steps to disengage.

I wished him well and blocked his cell number and all social media accounts.

Today is a new day...

I get sucked into also when my AW starts down the path. I'm getting better at recognizing the BS, but most times it still catches me off-guard.

Being the logical person I am, I assume she's going to be logical and rational, and then it hits me.

He is so far into his addiction and denial that I don't know the last time he was logical and rational. I really don't.

He has narcissistic tendencies, so along with the alcoholism, it's an inferno of "me-me-me," "I'm fine, you're crazy." Etc.

I KNEW exactly what was going to happen, but I just wanted to vent the heck out of his quacking. Knowing it wasn't going to change anything, but I guess I felt a little bit better, if that makes sense.

Thank you! It sometimes feels like 10 hours.
10 minutes of quacking = 10 hours
