Oh I have told him plenty of times to go without me. He won't and doesn't understand how I wouldn't want to spend time with him. I would love a weekend alone!

AW was given the opportunity to take an overnight trip, company-sponsored and company-paid - and she declined. I was thinking about the 'why', and it came to me that ever since she drove home blacked-out drunk from a company function, she is VERY careful at all subsequent functions. If she goes on this voluntary trip, she won't be able to drink like she does at home - her night will be boring I guess.

It would be a VERY cool trip to take, but if it interferes with her drinking, then forget it. How sad is that???

100% Absolutely. I'm working on getting all my ducks in a row so the seperation/divorce will be as least stressful as possible.
