COD-rooting for you!
COD...that anticipation would be really hard. I am thinking of you! Maybe you should get you one of those pots like HP got and whip up something to distract yourself? Ha, just kidding!
We are here for you friend!

Setting the bar low then, and anything better than that is a plus.
youre reply had me think of this song:
God's got your back,COD!
God's got your back,COD!
It's OK - this in-between period is just incredibly uncomfortable by now. You've had a LOT of time to anticipate this - not just since you made the final decision but all those years leading up to it.
Do you still have the link to that wholly inappropriate meditation?

COD - I'm sorry you're feeling this way. I remember the day my STBXAH was served to be a terribly difficult day, including the days prior. Anticipation of something bad can be extremely stressful.
I encourage you to take an hour today and go somewhere quiet and peaceful alone and scream, cry, sit silently, whatever you feel in the moment.
Sending you strength.
(also - I hope you have given more thought about where your DS will be in the next couple of days when $hit hits the fan so that he doesn't have a front row seat to the ugly)

Seriously though - the most basic thing you have absolute control over right now is your breathing. If you can focus long enough to do some simple breathing exercises it'll help your entire system.

Just read this one in my local Natural Awakenings magazine last night:
"After several breaths, the brain will start to shift from reactive emotional thinking to rational problem solving."
(from Al Lee, coauthor of Perfect Breathing: Transform Your Life One breath at a Time)
4 - 2 - 10 Breathing
Inhale through the nose for 4 seconds
Hold for 2
Slowly release the breath for up to 10 seconds
It sounds like something that could be very helpful during those panic attack-freak outs we all experience sometimes.
