I wonder if the eagles know that hatching is imminent? Like....do they get excited?
LOl...all three of my children were way...way..past the due date. I remember getting very discouraged during that time....

Thanks, bimmini.....
lol....brings back memories from my childhood...when I was about 4yrs. old. My grandmother had free range chickens...and one had a nest under the edge of the back porch, where she was incubating a brood of eggs...
I spent most of a couple of days, lying on my stomach and watching them hatch. My grandmother had warned me not to touch the eggs or to "help" them out of the egg. Of course I did help them...a little bit...!
I still can remember the excitement and fascination that I felt.....

Awwww--I am leaving tomorrow morning for a few days and will probably miss the birth(s) and (more than likely not be online at all) for these days.
This Auntie Eagle (moi) will check back here when I return. I assume the camera stops filming after the birth/hatching. (Scene goes dark)
Dandy, would u mind making an announcement on your thread, as to when the magical moments) happened??
PS.......Did u follow the giraffe birth a year or so ago?
Mother Nature is just soooo amazing!!!
AlcSis...I absolutely will post the announcement....also, the eagle cam website will have it prominently posted.
The camera will stay up!! So, you will be able to follow every event in the eaglet's lives..
Yes, I followed April's pregnancy....Anvilhead was extremely invested in it....
I heard a rumor that she may be pregnant again...?

It's Drama Central once the chick(s) are hatched - which is any day now.
Last year I got attached to the story. When the eaglet "accidentally fledged" last year it was nail-biting time.
The cameras will be up for the next three+ months, or until the young fledge and leave the area.
The number of viewers online has certainly increased in the last few days.
