Relapse

The first undeniable confirmation of a slip/possible relapse was found today after over 2 years of sobriety... now what?

You can't control someone else's addiction.

your relapse or someone else's?

if you know, you know and that's about it. it will either be a brief return to drinking/using, with a quick determination it really isn't worth it.....OR it will snowball and not stop any time soon.

did you have any plans in place should you be faced with a relapse?

Hi, Hopelessly.
I responded to your other post.
In it, I asked how long he has been sober-which you answered here- and was he working a program, like AA?
I would recommend Al-Anon if you are not already going. There’s lots of support there as well as on this site.
Time will tell as to whether your spouse will continue to drink or again embrace sobriety and recovery.
Good luck.
