^^^^^ I have to remind myself of this frequently. Am I opposed to Kid spending unsupervised time with ex because he actually poses a danger to Kid, or because I am angry with ex for being a jerk and a lousy co-parent? (fortunately or not fortunately, ex's police record helps me to clarify my concerns).

I'm sorry it's gone down like this. I don't have anything to offer but empathy here. Court is difficult at the best of times.
