An SR Thanksgiving - 2017!
HP, I do love a cheeseball, now THAT I would make and eat the entire thing myself.
I'd like some of Sparkle Kitty's turkey soup....any soup with noodles has my vote.
I'm bringing the cards for Old Maid. I hadn't thought of that game for years but when I visited my great nephews last summer we had a night of games at the table and he brought out a deck. We laughed and we laughed, Bagpipe Barney was my favourite and when all was said and done, I WAS the old maid.
OMG - this thread was so beautiful to read this AM. Board games are my FAVORITE!
I spent one Christmas in absolute misery with xabf... this is such a light in a dark place for so many.
I made a raspberry pie, and am pretty sure I ate most of the green bean casserole myself this weekend. I am going to have to spend the week hiking on my lunch hours to make up for everything I ate this weekend...well worth it though!

Thank you, Maudcat, it has been my pleasure! (Wait until you see what I have planned for Christmas!)
Firebolt, I love raspberry pie! True story, one year, my addict stepson bought himself a frozen razzleberry pie (raspberries and blackberries) from the store. Well, there was a problem with Mr. Seren's fridge (we weren't married yet), and it melted before it could be baked. To make up for the loss of his beloved pie, I made that young man a razzleberry pie from scratch--and he still complained to us about his lost frozen pie (insert eye roll).
I much prefer to do my baking and cooking for people who appreciate it--like my SR peeps!!
