If we don't change our direction we're likely to end up where we're headed.

Just thinking about prior relationships and how I moved on. Realizing I am allowing a marriage certificate to keep me stuck. If not for that of course it would be over. We never see each other!

Flavia....try to start thinking of it as "Just a piece of paper".....that might help you detach from it.....rather than thinking of it as a state of commitment...a s that ship, apparently has sailed.....

After my divorce years ago, I swore I'd never marry again. My most recent ex was not pleased when I told her that when we became 'official', which also took me about 8 months to do.. Anyways..we were together for over 11yrs and I promise you I'm so glad I made that vow to myself all those years ago. No courts,assets to split,ect...Just gone. I'm sure she's happy about it too,now. She's in a new relationship and to not have to 'deal with a exh,kids,ect..' Just done. Next. So simple.
