Well....he's onto the anger stage. He asked me point blank if I made up my mind. I said yes, I'm leaving. Now, he's angry and saying things like "I didn't do anything to you." I found myself starting to argue back but stopped. The threats saying he'll never talk to me again. There's no point in talking because I'm leaving him. It could get worse, but I'm going today to drop off the deposit and get the lease signed...if he's gets really bad, I'll be able to move sooner.

Good thoughts for me, please?

SO happy for you - there is nothing like a peaceful quiet, and serene space. (((HUGS))) There's gonna be some tough and lonely times.....but you already had that WITH him, right?!

I remember this feeling, the release I felt when I left my XAH. When the anger and abuse were able to be put behind me at least in the physical sense. But, I still took the pain and the past with me and I still needed healing, and I still do.
Please continue to reach out to others, keep working on you, and keep putting you first. Take lots of deep breaths and be patient with yourself. Sending you lots of positive vibes and healing thoughts.

Yay. I remember my exah staggering across the kitchen absolutely hammered knocking things to the floor saying "Am I really that bad?" it's funny now but it was a wth moment.
