Wishing Lexie Well Thread

Thought I'd start a thread for those who'd like to wish Lexiecat a smooth surgery tomorrow and an ultra-swift recovery.

Hope it all goes well, Lexie--my ears will be perked up for news as soon as it's available!

I have to admit that I had to look up the phrase - Мне надеюсь на ваше скорое выздоровление! (I wish you a speedy recovery!).

The only standard phrase I remembered for "good luck" (besides желаю удачи) was "Ни пуха ни пера." This is the Russian equivalent or "Break a leg" for which the appropriate response is "К черту" (Go to hell.) Since I do not wish for you to actually break a leg, and since I do not wish for you to tell me to go to hell, I cheated and chose "speedy recovery" instead.

Well, you could post just about anything in Russian right now, PH, because I won't get around to looking it up till later in the week.

By this time tomorrow, I should be awake again. That's sort of a happy thought.
