Positive Vibes Today
 

Hi,
I'm sure a lot of you here have read my posts over the past year! I like most on this form have been through stuff, no one should have to endure!
Today, I wanted to post some positive vibes!!! I think I'm starting to have more good days than bad ones. I'm starting to be able to REALLY see my life as my own! I never minded being alone, but when your life revolves around a needy AH, you loose a piece of yourself.
Things are perfect, but what ever is! I feel I can walk tall with no shame and be proud of who I am and am becoming!!
There truly is life after living with an alcoholic! Never thought I'd ever hear that out of my mouth!! All I recall myself saying is, " I loved my AH so much." I did, but made my choice to put me first!! Important to do if you ever are really able to love someone else!
So, I'm sending positive vibes to everyone who is living in a place that isn't comfortable for them! I understand the pain! I was there!
Make good choices for you and you alone.
And some smart person said "always be true to yourself."

Yup. Nothing is perfect, but life is short, & we get to choose our story!!

And the best part is that when we make a true choice - no matter how complicated - we receive new strength and energy!

Being true to yourself feeds the self, and suddenly you are inhabiting a new self, who is oddly stronger and surer than the previous one!

Don't wait for strength to be strong! Being strong begets additional power!!
