Well, the cycle is back again. DD treating me like dirt. The financial settlement is looming and XAH is probably filling her head with all sorts of misrepresentations.

I am going to back off. What else can I do? My family and friends at work treat me well. There is only one person in my life who treats me like I am an enemy- and that is my own daughter.

DS won't even speak to me. I have totally lost my immediate family. I do have a sister I spend time with and many friends. I like it when people treat me with love.

Again, don't assume you have "totally lost" them. You have lost them for now. You're most likely correct about what's going on with Dad.

Keep an open mind about what may happen after the divorce is finalized and some time has passed. IOW, don't lose all hope.

But for now, you're doing a great job of building a wonderful new life for yourself.
