Thank you! No celebrating for me. I'm already buried deep in the next set of studying for my securities law exam. And, honestly, I live my life up pretty well anyway so I don't feel like I slight myself either.

I am so happy for you! I am taking a test sometime end of April for my job as well. It is so stressful because I have to pass this test to keep my job. I have working so hard on it - but sometimes I fear anxiety may get in the way. I am so glad you have this out of the way. Wishing you all the very best!

Congratulations!!! I took the Series 7 back in the 90s and it is a bear! So much to remember. It's a BIG DEAL to pass that test. I am so proud of you for sticking to it and passing!!!! You have your license now! So many doors are going to open for you. Way to go, girl!

Thanks! Yes, I passed back in the 90s as well, lol!
So much has changed in regulations and the way they focus the test questions. The concepts seemed more varied than I remember.

Anyway, now, I'm working towards taking my series 66 (the combined state securities exam and securities law), and then I have to take my insurance licensing exams.

I do feel that all of these certifications will help me no matter where my career takes me. I truly want things to work with the company I'm sponsored with right now, though, but if I fail to get a good solid income producing business going, I will at least have my licensing and I can go work for a large bank, insurance company, or other broker/dealer in town and I will be paid a better salary than what I was making before.
