So the other day I wrote these out and posted them on a wall so I can see them each morning:

Today I will:

- Pray to my Higher Power

- Be honest with myself

- THINK first and then do the next right thing

- Thank my Higher Power for my blessings

- Take care of myself

- My recovery comes first - NO, My Higher Power comes first then my recovery

- I will love myself

- I will forgive myself

- Pray to my Higher Power to lead me

About 13 years ago when I was heavy in my Alanon (before the move) I had an old timer suggest to write myself notes and post them where I am the most, the bathroom mirror, the kitchen, etc. I can remember my AH being so angry with me that he would pull them off the walls - but they were MY reminders, he just didn't want to see them, I guess to remind him of anything...... so far this reminder is still where I placed it
