We'll stop by and bring you a snack and a sparkler! :)

Nice! We'll be up...stop in any time :)

Just put on a new pot of coffee and have the salmon in the oven :)

Not long now until lunch!! :eat

honeypig 12-31-2016 08:26 AM

Oh, I'm so glad I got here in time for the salmon! (mouth watering...)

I've got pickled herring (both the wine vinegar kind and the sour cream kind) and crackers for those who wish to partake later in the evening. It's a family tradition, although I think only my mom and I actually like it. I'm guessing it has German or Polish origins.

We're having a multicultural day, for sure!

anvil eyes the salad, rethinking her leave-the-cheese pledge......drinking cocoa and watching the eagle cam! E9 arrived just in time for the party! Eagle Cam - Live Feed

Did I make it in time for lunch? Sounds scrumptious :) any cheese left in the salad ? ;)
Cheers e everyone!
Thanks for having us Seren

Seren 12-31-2016 10:54 AM

Of course you made it in time for lunch, Kboys! There is plenty!

Don't forget the shuttles run every 15 minutes from here to each venue...and they will bring you back here, too :)

I think there is a pretty involved D&D match going on in the library, and the fire is roaring! Pull up a chair, and settle in with a good book, a cup of cocoa or coffee or glass of sparkling water. Last I saw honeypig, she had Ned and Daisy in the canoe!!

And we are enjoying ourselves so much! Ned is wearing his life vest, as bassets are not widely known for their aquatic skills, but Daisy is a little water rat and has taken a dip, overcome w/curiosity about something she saw over among the tall grass and rocks on the bank.

This is a nice canoe, Seren--I am not much of a paddler, but it's easy to handle and stable. Thanks for letting us use it.

Eli and carolineno, how long till you guys are off of work? Looking forward to your arrival.

And dandy, you are simply the picture of glamour, lounging in your fur hat and high-heeled sneakers! I forgot to mention, I brought a fancy jello salad, knowing your passion for the wiggly delicacy!

A little Zydeco to liven up the afternoon....Broussard and the Creole Cowboys...

That is one fantastic jello creation, honeypig! I'm glad you are enjoying the canoe...if anyone else wants to take a spin, feel free!

This is lovely! Forgot to ask if anyone minds if I bring my boys for a bit. They love dogs. Do ned and Daisy like kids, honeypig?

honeypig 12-31-2016 11:15 AM

They are both friendly creatures and both will be glad to romp or to sit and be cuddled, whichever the kids are in the mood for, Kboys. Ned in particular likes to be petted and will roll onto his back and wave his feet in the air, making silly noises and looking absolutely ridiculous.

They've been shortchanged on human companionship these past few weeks, w/me at work so much, so it would be just lovely if some "catching up" could be done!

Seren 12-31-2016 11:15 AM

:e100:
Open to all, Kboys! There are plenty of toys here that my grands play with when they are over, there is a big front yard and back yard, and I've set the volleyball net up in the front.

Keeping this whole 80s theme going for those of us of a, er, certain age...

Rick Astley!! Come on...he's awesome :)

Who wants to dance with me?

Kboys 12-31-2016 11:54 AM

I'd love to dance! Haven't done that in way too long. The boys are busy loving on Ned and Daisy and cracking up over there... So I'd love to dance while they're occupied!

dandylion 12-31-2016 12:30 PM

I'm too tired to dance, right now...lol....I am just exhausted from watching my Buns of Steel exercise video!
Maybe, later...Seren....

Maudcat 12-31-2016 12:33 PM

Rick Astley is the best!

AnvilheadII 12-31-2016 12:43 PM
