An interesting phenomenon happened to me this week. After spending the early part of the week feeling sorry for myself, I decided, "Screw it. I like me. Others can "lump it or leave it." I prayed to my HP to direct my days and I decided on just focusing on me and what would make me feel good in the moment. I refused to take "sh*%" from anybody and you know what? I, all of the sudden, became the most popular person at work, out of nowhere. I even got a Christmas present today from the biggest bully at work. So, what I took from this experience is that others are more much likely to notice our worth, when we accept and acknowledge our worth. And those that don't? Well, they are not worth our time or any of our headspace.
