Hi everyone! I was listening to this song today and thought I’d share. The lyrics really hit home for me and I think a lot of you will be able to relate, as well.

I remember playing this once in my car for my EXAB just a few months before he went MIA. I told him it was how I felt – “How many times can I break till I shatter?” And now, looking back on this moment makes me feel terrible. What if he felt like I didn’t care? What if he felt like I had given up on him? It breaks my heart even more to think he may have felt that way because it couldn’t have been further from the truth.

Little did I know that day in the car I would break so many more times before I shattered. On the positive side, putting those shattered pieces back together can be one of the most rewarding and rejuvenating experiences. It’s then that we truly realize what we are made of and how far we can go.
