New here...just saying hello

I've been a long time lurker...have enjoyed reading everyone's posts and seeing how much help there is available here. I'm in the healthcare industry and sometimes run into addicts, but did not have any understanding until being married to/divorcing an addict. I am thankful for this board - and I'm looking forward to being a more active part of this community.

We don't have to suffer by ourselves. Sometimes we don't have anyone to talk to in our real lives that would understand what it's like living with an addict. It's good to know you are not alone.
