I've unfriended my sisters from Facebook
 

I got tired of the political vitriole aimed at political candidates they disagree with, including morphed logos of the opposing candidates suggesting sexual acts.

Over the weekend, it came to roost on me when I posted on Facebook that I had been to see Dinesh D'Souza's movie. I made no comments at all on the movie or anybody's candidates.

All hell broke loose from both my sisters.

I had a much easier time dealing with my ex than this.....

Yeah - goll-dang Facebook.

IMO, it should be reserved for pictures of your family and funny stuff.

The rest is just an obnoxious soap box for us to argue from and never really solve anything. Cripes. It really should be limited to kittens' shenanigans, family photos and Star Wars memes.

Good for you - unfriend, unfollow and block anyone that mucks up your feed - even family!

Unfortunately I told one sister not to contact me unless she can be civil. She has come back with all the claws out. I know she drinks, probably heavily.

She told me she would not be contacting me, which I guess means she can't be civil.

Some people wonder why I absolutely refuse to join Facebook. This is a good reason why.

I also went and saw the movie.

My block list must be 100 people long by now! Not being afraid of blocking and learning how to unfollow people has made Facebook a much more enjoyable experience :)

No interest at all in joining Facebook. AW wastes many many hours looking at posts from people who need to share every little episode of gas they have.

What followed from my drinking sister were e-mails that were so toxic, I finally blocked her from my e-mail.

Frankly, I am shocked at how toxic she has become. I really felt today as though I were confronting some addict in the advanced stages of their disease.
