Enabling and guilt
Today I finally said no to what I felt like was only enabling. In the past, I probably would have done it but secretly would have felt very resentful. I know I did the right thing and I know I said no in a loving way. Here's the thing though - I hate this anxious feeling I have now! It's all I've thought about since this morning. Why can't I just say no and go about my day??
I'm not regretting my answer at all. How do you all get past this?

I envision my new behaviors like building a muscle. The more I lift that heavy weight the more my body can lift that weight.
