My X drank at his old job. I have no idea if he does now at this job, but it would not surprise me in the least. How sad.

I don't know the answers, but I send big hugs Seren!

I worked once with someone who was drinking on the job. She worked with children in an after care situation. She lost her job. I have also worked with people who got oui's for drinking or pot. They did not lose jobs but were put on probationary status for a period of time. One left on their own after a while. The other, as far as I know, is still there. I was working while in my heaviest drinking time. No one ever said anything, but they had to have known. I kinda cringe now when I think about it. Otoh, I believe that job stress was a factor in my dependency. no real point here. Just sayin.
