I love love love Medium Chill. Use it all the time with AH. Works a treat. I recommend it, the whole site Out of the Fog is excellent. I think AH has some sort of Personality Disorder under his drinking.

The whole "look slightly interested" will be a new tool for me. I get too
interested, focused, and pulled in. I'm doing much better these days
but this will make it easier. I love the name too, makes me smile just
thinking about it......and yes, its a great site.

Hahaha! Yes this was me too. I used to get myself pulled into all sorts of things that were just trouble waiting to happen!!

I used to get TOO interested and it ran away with me.

I see it as an more advanced and (dare I say) more cool version of Al-anon's "detach with love" method.

I worked "detach with love" for several years, stumbled across "Medium Chill" and put it in place. To me, it is like a souped up version of "detach with love".

I use it all the time. Big life improver. Empowering.
