Must be AD forgot she told me we were done, that she wanted nothing to do with me, that she couldn't continue dealing with a mother like me, she's been hurt her whole life, etc., etc. etc.

So I did unfriend her from all the social media sites, haven't had any contact and things have been going a lot smoother as the week went on and nerves calmed down.

Well, she just now realized I had unfriended her and she's not taking it well. She was able to get a message through of how horrible I really am to be able to do this to her own daughter. Now she's blocked but another sleepless night for me, while I shake off the shreds of guilt she tends to leave around me.

You're doing well Baxter, keep it up. Keep saying 'not my circus, not my monkeys' over and over to yourself. She's going to be really pissed when she realises you're not participating anymore, no getting upset, not crying, not explaining your actions, just living your own life. So your AD might escalate for a while, but it's no fun when the other person doesn't play and eventually she'll give up.

This is what your continued goal is. Keep blocking contact. Slowly we mentally calm down, as we don't see another tornado coming towards us. Don't engage with a raging addict. You are not going to win anyway, so stay out of her way. I know it is difficult but you can do it.
