I have four children and I work full time. My oldest son is only okay with helping with little kids for shortish amount of times. Esp with my 4 year old and 8 year old who are very busy and constantly fighting. I need to get myself to an Al-anon meeting and don't have a lot of resources for child care. Obvs don't have a ton of resources. Most of the meetings are in the evening.

I don't know what your faith base is, but Celebrate Recovery is very similar to Alanon, and usually offer free child care. Some also have age appropriate sessions for the kids. That was a life saver for me when I was going through hard times with a young child.

I also know there are some online Alanon sessions, I think even here associated with SR. Just a thought.

I know of some shelters or centers for emergency that hold al anon meetings and provide free childcare. I would call around to those type of places and see
