Vocabulary of Emotions
Vocabulary of Emotions
I have been looking for the old post that references this chart all morning but just can't find the magic keyword for the search engine. So, I dug it up online & am re-sharing it in case any newbies find it useful.
I have used this tool MANY times for myself, DD, friends, co-workers, etc. during times of intense emotional spirals. It's basic, but that's exactly why it's so helpful.
It helps break down those BIG overwhelming feelings when we *think* we're having unique, special-snowflake moments..... you can really drill it down into a basic (root) emotional category. That helped me see some common patterns in myself & make it a lot more manageable all around.

I'm not sure if this is the one, but Lillamy provided a link to a similar list:

No, it was the same one that I posted..... and I'm pretty sure it was lillamy/m1k3 that posted it. It was a short thread & may not have even been the point of the post to begin with.
I've not seen this one before; thanks!!!
