I think in terms of codependency as a whole, as a condition, this brief definition works really well for me. (vs. say, displaying codependent behaviors at times.)

Yep!! Bc you are too wrapped up in taking care of someone else instead of giving them the dignity of making their own decision and dealing with the consequences, be it good or bad. You're not even living your own life-your trying to manage someone else's to make yourself feel needed or better!
