Annoying conversation with DD
 

This is just a vent -- I need to get it out so I can shake it off!

My oldest told me she thinks i made too big a deal XAH husband's behaviors, that he's a great guy, that I should have stayed & let him do what he does. He is a complete narcissist, very manipulative of the kids.

I told her that I deserve a loving relationship where my needs are important. As does she, and I hope she takes a look at that.

Ah, the confidence of youth....

How old is she, because that sounds like classic teen "push mom's worst buttons" behavior to me..

Either that or he's bribing her...or both.

Stay strong. You know the truth.

Oh, for sure he's bribing her. Always has!

She's out of the house. Not a teen.

So at least you don't have to live with that?

She'll learn, hopefully not the hard way...
