Terrifying! The dating pool scares the hell out of me because of incidents like this. Like, I know that a lot of people are really good people, but there are serious crazies sprinkled in between...and for me, they are hard to tell apart at times.

Good for you for seeing it, then doing something about it, and then for having the proof to clear yourself. What a nightmare for just doing something nice for someone.

thank GOD you kept those texts! i am SO sorry you experienced that-- i know that dating as a woman sucks for many reasons, but your story just made it shockingly clear that men have it just as bad when it comes to dealing with a crazy person across the table...

and no matter what, if she contacts you in any way, shape or form, i would go straight to the police instantly...
