Is this normal for an addict?

Addiction is one issue, but the rest aren't always joined to addiction.
It sounds like he has a number of other things to work through,
but addicts don't always cheat anymore than all cheaters are addicts.
It sounds like you need to think hard if this relationship will satisfy
you long term--can you trust him again, will the sexual issues continue
to be a problem, and if so, where does this leave you, and
most importantly, is this person going to be able to be
a stable and trustworthy father for your child?
