I do that because my fire tends to go out without that extra air. Once the fire really gets going, I then close that door. Just know that I will be researching anything that you tell me, but I am really happy that you are telling me things that I can research. Also, I am trying to find a wood stove specialist, but I like to be consumer aware. So, really, thank you. ((((hugs))))) amy |
Sorry you have not been feeling well. Years ago at my work people were getting headaches for no reason. Someone brought in a CO2 detector and it went off. The furnace had been leaking. People that day had to seek medical treatment if they were showing symptoms for carbon monoxide poisoning. So seeing a Dr may be warranted. Also I believe now all homes are required to have a CO 2 detector and a smoke detector. At least in NY they need to be in a house if you are selling or buying one. Same goes for rental units. |

Sending big hugs, Amy! Hope you're feeling better! |
